The pension appraisal process is typically used to be able to compare a pension to other assets, such as a 401k or even the marital home, in order to compare apples to apples in equalizing the assets. Once we receive all of the necessary information, we will calculate the present value of your pension and send you a detailed letter.

Expert Witness Testimony
We have provided expert witness testimony for our pension appraisals in over a dozen states. For references and a list of states in which we have appeared as expert witness, contact Michael Foley at email@example.com.
Qualified Domestic Relations Orders
We will draft a domestic relations order, send to the plan administrator, and confirm preapproval.
After reviewing your documents, we will contact you to ensure we uphold the intent of the parties' Separation Agreement. Once we receive the necessary information and materials from the parties and the plan, our drafting process typically takes 2-3 weeks. We send our draft order to the plan for their pre approval review, which typically takes 1-3 months, depending on the plan.
